These achievements are earned by doing whatever you wish. as long as you're running the game, and takes about 2 hours to achieve them all. As the name suggests, you can literally load the game and do nothing, and the achievements flow. There is about 5 minutes of gameplay, searching around the map and speaking to the few individuals that repeat their own individual dad joke. There's a boss fight, but there's no extra achievements for defeating that boss.If you are searching for a game with amazing graphics, great story-telling, and a soundtrack that brings eargasms.. this isn't it; what did you expect when a game names itself Achievement Lurker? It does exactly as it says on the tin, and that's why I recommend the game: it doesn't hide exactly what it is, and if you did buy this game hoping for gameplay.. well.. you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?. the rpg part is boring, the map is tiny and multiple maps is kinda a joke. The Dad Jokes are ok, but could be more. The design is absolutely loveless. If you expect anything more than 5000 achievements than avoid this game, rather get Shower With Your Dad Simulator.. This game was awesome at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a good idea for a game. But anyone who screws me deserves to be paid.. Achievement spam, for me I literally couldn’t close it afterwards :pepopal:I guess that’s the joke. Like I've said in a lot of my previous reviews for similar games: Get it, if you like tons of achievement; don't, if you don't.To the dev: Given that it's not necessary to go past the title screen, you honestly don't really have to make a game. If you do go that route at some point, maybe you could put some awesome music to listen to during the grind instead. Talking about some 30 - 60min music mix that's fun to have running in the background. And then just make a monster run. People can opt to fight, starting with low-tier creeps that get harder with each round. Occasionally they get some healing items or a save point, if you feel generous. That way people can post to which round they made it. Would be neat.. Chiefly chieves'. Obviously, this game (using the term 'game' loosely here) is entirely for the 5000 achievements. Achievement Lurker: Dad Jokes is literally just an achievement earning machine, much like it's predecessors Achievement Hunter: Begins and Cromulent. This one boasting 5000 achievements.I bought this game for one reason, achievements. I didn't buy it to play, or because I wanted it to be challenging. People complain about getting acheivements for doing nothing, 5000 achievements, it's called Achievement Hunter, what were you expecting? You know what you're going to buy.For people like me that want cheap crap to collect achievements, it's a fantastic game and is exactly what I was looking for. Most of the time I just let the game run while I wander off and do other things, it couldn't be any easier. But if you are only looking for an easy way to get some cool achievements, whether it's to display them, use them to spell things, make your profile look nice, or just get a high count, these games designed to do that and just that.. This game was awesome at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a good idea for a game. But anyone who screws me deserves to be paid.
